GCA sales engineers have been selling our principals' products into the San Diego market since our inception in 1982, and many of our salespeople were selling other companies' products here before joining GCA. Our time in place and our specific work experiences in San Diego have given us an intimate knowledge of our customers and their needs. We work very closely with distributors, and we give them excellent support. GCA enjoys a wonderful reputation in our industry and in our territory. We provide active, full time sales coverage in San Diego and Imperial Counties, in the Temecula area of Riverside County, and in the "Frontera Zone" of Baja California, Mexico. Yes, we do cross the border regularly to make sales and service calls on our customers.

Our primary sales tool is, has been, and always will be calling on customers. We are at our best during face-to-face meetings where we can provide service and technical assistance, design in products that we represent, and build long term advocate relationships. Trade Shows

 

We exhibit our principals' products each year in trade shows that focus on the San Diego and Frontera market. These shows are the Del Mar Electronics Show and Mexport. Many of the companies that we represent exhibit with us.

GCA is Efficiently Organized to Produce Positive Results Our goal is to keep our salespeople face-to-face with our customers for as much time as possible. We have organized ourselves into a virtual company to achieve this goal. Each salesperson has been provided with his own personal computer, copier, fax, pager, car phone, and hand held phone. The administrative and inside sales staff operate from the well equipped GCA headquarters office in Escondido (north San Diego County). Everyone is electronically linked together. Our sales people only come into the office for training and meetings. GCA's principals benefit from the extra time that we have for customer visits.
